1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using IPROG RentGo ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to IPROG RentGo website and services
• "We," "Us," "Our" refers to IPROG RentGo
• "You," "User," "Customer" refers to the individual using our service
• "Owner" refers to vehicle owners who list vehicles on the Platform
• "Vehicle" refers to any car, motorcycle, or other vehicle available for rent
• "Booking" refers to a reservation made through the Platform

3. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (age verification occurs at vehicle pickup)
• Possess a valid driver's license (verified at vehicle pickup)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3.1 Driver's License Upload (Optional)

Renters may optionally upload a copy of their driver's license during the booking process. This is completely optional and not required to make a booking. However, uploading a valid driver's license increases your chances of booking approval as it demonstrates compliance with rental requirements and helps vehicle owners verify your identity. Uploaded driver's licenses will be displayed on your booking voucher.

Acceptable formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF images, maximum 5MB. Please upload a clear image of the front of your driver's license.

3.2 Vehicle Owner Requirements

Vehicle owners must provide valid proof of business registration, such as:

• Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Certificate of Registration
• Business License or Permit
• Other valid business registration documents

These documents are required to verify the legitimacy of your business and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Note: While we require users to be 18+ and have a valid driver's license, verification occurs at the time of vehicle pickup, not during online booking. DTI documents are verified during the owner onboarding process.

4. Vehicle Rentals

4.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking:

• You must provide accurate booking information
• You will receive a booking confirmation email and voucher
• Bookings are subject to vehicle availability
• Payment arrangements are made directly with the vehicle owner (not through the platform)

Note: This platform facilitates bookings but does not process payments. Payment terms, methods, and timing are agreed upon directly between you and the vehicle owner.

4.2 Rental Requirements

At the time of vehicle pickup, you must:

• Present a valid driver's license
• Present the booking voucher (emailed to you or available online)
• Complete payment arrangements with the vehicle owner as agreed
• Inspect the vehicle and report any existing damage

Note: Security deposits, payment methods, and other rental requirements are determined by the vehicle owner, not by IPROG RentGo.

4.3 Vehicle Use

You agree to:

• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
• Not sublet or transfer the vehicle to another person
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received (normal wear excepted)
• Return the vehicle on time at the agreed location
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
• Not use the vehicle for commercial purposes without authorization

5. Payment Terms

Payment arrangements:

• All prices displayed are in Philippine Peso (₱)
• Payment is handled directly between you and the vehicle owner
• Payment terms, methods, and timing are agreed upon with the vehicle owner
• IPROG RentGo does not process payments or handle transactions
• Additional fees for late returns, damages, or violations are determined by the vehicle owner
• Security deposits (if required) are arranged directly with the vehicle owner

Important: The platform displays booking amounts for reference, but actual payment arrangements are made directly with the vehicle owner. IPROG RentGo collects commission from owners via a separate invoicing system.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

6.1 Guest Cancellation

Pending Bookings: Guests may cancel their booking at any time while it is in "pending" status (before the rental owner confirms or declines). You can cancel directly through the booking confirmation page.

Confirmed Bookings: Once a booking is confirmed by the rental owner, cancellation must be arranged directly with the vehicle owner. Contact the owner using the contact information provided in your booking confirmation.

Cancellation policies and refund terms are determined by:

• The agreement between you and the vehicle owner
• The timing of the cancellation relative to the pickup date
• Any specific terms agreed upon during booking

Note: Since payment is handled directly with the vehicle owner, refunds (if applicable) are processed by the vehicle owner according to your agreement with them. IPROG RentGo does not process refunds.

6.2 Owner Cancellations

If a vehicle owner cancels a booking, you should contact them directly regarding any refund arrangements. IPROG RentGo will assist in finding alternative vehicles if requested, but refunds are handled between you and the vehicle owner.

7. Vehicle Damage and Liability

You are responsible for:

• Any damage to the vehicle during the rental period
• Loss or theft of the vehicle or its accessories
• Traffic violations and fines incurred during the rental period
• Costs associated with vehicle recovery if not returned on time

You agree to pay all costs associated with damage, loss, or violations directly to the vehicle owner as agreed upon. Since payment is handled offline, any charges for damages or violations are arranged directly with the vehicle owner.

8. Insurance

Vehicle owners are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles. IPROG RentGo does not provide insurance coverage for rentals.

You are advised to verify insurance coverage with the vehicle owner and consider purchasing additional coverage if needed.

9. Platform Scope and Limited Liability

9.1 Our Services

IPROG RentGo is a booking facilitation platform only. Our services are limited to:

• Facilitating the booking initialization process between vehicle owners and guests
• Sending email notifications regarding booking requests, confirmations, and status changes
• Sending SMS notifications to vehicle owners about potential bookings

That is the full extent of our service. We do not participate in, facilitate, or have any responsibility for any aspect of the actual rental transaction beyond booking initialization and notifications.

9.2 No Liability for Rental Transactions

IPROG RentGo is NOT liable for any problems, disputes, or issues that arise between the rental owner and the guest. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Payment disputes or payment-related issues
• Vehicle condition, safety, or performance problems
• Accidents, injuries, or damages during the rental period
• Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical failures
• Disputes over rental terms, conditions, or agreements
• Late returns, damages, or violations
• Insurance claims or coverage issues
• Any other matter related to the actual rental transaction

Important: All rental-related matters, including payment, vehicle condition, damages, disputes, and any other issues, are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner and the guest. IPROG RentGo is not a party to the rental agreement and has no liability whatsoever for any problems that occur between the owner and guest.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• IPROG RentGo acts solely as a booking facilitation platform
• We are not responsible for the condition, safety, or performance of vehicles
• We are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages arising from vehicle use
• We are not liable for any disputes, problems, or issues between vehicle owners and guests
• Our liability is limited solely to the booking facilitation and notification services we provide
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of vehicle information provided by owners
• We are not responsible for the conduct, actions, or representations of vehicle owners or guests

By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that IPROG RentGo's sole responsibility is booking initialization and notifications. All other matters are between you and the vehicle owner/guest, and IPROG RentGo has no liability or responsibility for any problems that arise.

10. Vehicle Owner Responsibilities

Vehicle owners agree to:

• Provide accurate vehicle information and photos
• Maintain vehicles in safe and roadworthy condition
• Have valid registration and insurance
• Make vehicles available at the agreed pickup time and location
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect user information without authorization

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of IPROG RentGo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

• We encourage parties to resolve disputes amicably
• If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with Philippine law
• You waive your right to a jury trial

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Palawan, Philippines.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
